Planning Your Business Display
Before You Order
- Measure the space, including ceiling height and door widths.
- Check with your landlord or venue if you need approval for outdoor displays, anchors, or displays in shared areas.
- Keep exits and walkways clear. Decide where the display goes before you order, so fire exits and accessible routes stay open.
- Pick 2–3 colors at most, ideally matched to your brand or your existing decor.
Setup
Displays inflate on site with no construction, so a small team can usually handle setup. Our step-by-step display guide covers building, securing, and lighting. Any hanging or overhead display should be planned and installed by a qualified rigging professional.
During the Season
- Assign one person to check the display regularly and top up air if needed.
- Outdoors, watch the forecast. Bring the display in or deflate it when strong winds are expected, and make sure staff know how.
- Keep the display out of reach of sharp objects, and discourage people from climbing on it.
After the Season
Clean and dry each piece, then deflate and fold it for storage. Our care guide has the details. Because you can use the same display again, the cost per season drops each year. For example, a $1,469 8 ft ornament pyramid used for 5 seasons works out to about $294 per season.
When to Order
Big Shiny Balls® are made to order. Standard delivery takes about 2 weeks, and custom orders need at least 4 weeks. Rush orders with approximately 7-day delivery are available for an extra 10% of your order subtotal. Large or multi-location orders need more planning, so get in touch as early as you can.
