Know before install day

  1. Learning 1

    Light chrome from the front

    Mirror finishes reflect, they do not glow. Aim lights at the balls, not behind them.

  2. Learning 2

    Unbox and count on delivery day

    Check every piece against the packing list the day it lands, not install day. Leaves time to fix gaps.

  3. Learning 3

    Chrome shows fingerprints

    Handle with gloves, wipe last. Do the final polish after all other trades are done.

  4. Learning 4

    Anchor everything outdoors

    Use the D-rings and weights on every ball. A loose ball in wind is a liability, not a decor issue.

  5. Learning 5

    Cold venues: top up the air

    Air contracts in the cold. Outdoor and loading-dock installs can look soft by morning. Plan a top-up pass.

  6. Learning 6

    Inflate on site, not before

    A 6 ft+ ball will not fit through a standard door inflated. Bring it in flat and inflate in place.

    Build the ornament cluster

    Piling striped, Fair Isle and solid balls so the pile looks full, not random.

  4. Step 04

    Cone tree and ball tree assembly
